Sales Support Engineer 


Job Description 

The Role

As an Engineer (Sales Support), you will play a key role in providing comprehensive technical and administrative support to HVAC/chillers' sales operations. You will be responsible for preparing and revising quotations, tenders, and technical documentation, as well as tabulating cooling / heat load calculations, load profiles, and piping schematic data in compliance with project and regulatory requirements. Your Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and revise quotations and tenders: Draft and revise quotations, technical data, tender pricing/costing to align with project specifications. Working closely with Sales Engineers & related Dept during pre-sales and post-sales phases to address technical concerns.
  • Coordinate Technical Data: Tabulate and process cooling / heat load calculations, load profiles, and piping schematic diagrams, ensuring all technical data meets project and regulatory standards, including Green Mark submissions.
  • Coordination with Factory: Work closely with the factory on the production and delivery of the chillers and applied products.
  • Chiller/HVAC Sales and After-Sales Support: Provide ongoing administrative and technical support by responding promptly to customer inquiries, arrange for FAT with customers, working closely with after-sales teams on service requests, warranty matters, and spare parts coordination, and supporting site meetings by supplying required information and clarifying technical calculations in a timely manner.
  • After-sales coordination: Liaising daily with the operations department to handle service requests, warranty matters, equipment issues, spare parts, and delivery coordination.
  • Events support: Provide support monthly company-organized dinner events by coordinating and sending customer invitations, welcoming and assisting guests as reception or usher, and fostering relationships to support business development.


Your Skills

  • Good understanding of refrigeration cycle, chiller types, plant design components in HVAC system.


Your Profile

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or relevant Engineering disciplines.
  • Keen interest in the chillers/HVAC would be advantageous.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in providing pre-sales/after sales support, preparing quotations, or handling technical coordination.
  • Familiar with using MS, Excel, AutoCAD and other skills with the ability to interpret and review technical drawings.
  • Proactive attitude.
  • Eager to learn, proactive, and willing to take ownership of assigned tasks.
  • Service-oriented mindset.
  • Independent and also a team player.
