Sales Manager (UPS and Microgrid)

As a Sales Manager for UPS & Microgrid, you will drive the sales of UPS and Microgrid systems (including BESS) through project tendering, solutioning, and customer collaboration, while ensuring the successful execution of projects. You will be responsible for planning, marketing, and selling Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems for Data Centers and Photovoltaic/BESS systems for Microgrid solutions in the Southeast Asia region. You will develop new business models focusing on project tendering, collaborating with Data Center developers and consultants for both Singapore and regional markets.

Your Key Responsibilities

Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:

  • Conduct comprehensive market surveys to analyze solutions and identify emerging trends within the UPS and Microgrid sectors.
  • Explore new marketing opportunities and business models to expand the reach of our products and solutions within the region.

Lead UPS Data Center Project Tendering:

  • Formulate and implement pricing, product, and solution strategies to achieve successful tendering outcomes for UPS systems in Data Center projects.

Microgrid Sales and Marketing:

  • Plan and market Microgrid solutions and products, specifically for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and UPS solutions, in Southeast Asia and Pacific Islands.

Solutioning:

  • Size various BESS systems tailored for UPS and Microgrid solutions, ensuring they meet project and customer specifications.

  • Prepare detailed design proposals and provide technical advice for both UPS and Microgrid systems as part of tender documentation.

Customer Support and Collaboration:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing technical support and strategic advice throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Collaborate closely with the Project Team during the execution phase to ensure that customer expectations are met and exceeded.


Your Skills

  • Ability to articulate ideas clearly and effectively in both written and verbal forms.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team to achieve common goals.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement them effectively.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategies that optimize costs while maintaining quality and efficiency.
  • In-depth understanding of UPS and Microgrid systems, with the ability to provide technical support and advice.
  • Strong understanding of customer needs and pain points, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships.
  • Ability to conduct market surveys, analyze data, and identify new marketing opportunities.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing market conditions and customer requirements.


Your Profile

  • Possess a Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales or business development within the energy, power, or infrastructure sectors, with a specific focus on UPS, Microgrid, or similar technologies.
  • Experience with Data Center projects and understanding of the technical requirements for UPS and Microgrid systems.
