We are looking for a dedicated Project Engineer to join our team and drive the deployment of state-of-the-art automation systems for smarter, more efficient facilities.
As a Project Engineer for Facilities Monitoring and Control Systems (FMCS) and Building Management Systems (BMS), you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects. You will work closely with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure that all systems are deployed to optimize building operations and drive energy efficiency. Your Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning & Execution: Assist in planning, budgeting, and the seamless execution of FMCS/BMS projects, ensuring they meet performance, cost, and timeline goals.
- Technical Issue Resolution: Manage and resolve any technical challenges related to the installation, commissioning, and testing of Facilities Monitoring and Control Systems (FMCS) and Building Management Systems (BMS) solutions, ensuring minimal disruption and on-time delivery.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear communication with internal teams and external stakeholders (including clients and vendors), ensuring all parties are aligned and informed about project expectations and progress.
- Variation Order Management: Proactively engage with clients to suggest improvements or approaches to secure variation orders, ensuring the projects evolve in line with client needs and emerging requirements.
- Project Reporting: Provide timely and detailed project status updates to management, identifying any risks or opportunities, and suggesting corrective actions if needed.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet high-quality standards while being cost-effective and optimized for energy savings and operational efficiency.
Your Skills
- Proven ability to manage the entire project cycle for Facilities Monitoring and Control Systems (FMCS) and Building Management Systems (BMS) projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-solver to address challenges efficiently and effectively.
- Good working knowledge in facilities monitoring and control systems, project management, or building management systems (BMS), Electrical Power Management Systems, HVAC Control Applications.
- Experience with the design, operation, and maintenance of mission-critical facilities, such as data centers, would be highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with BCA/NEA regulations and other local standards related to building systems and safety protocols.
Your Profile
- Diploma or Degree in Automation & Control, Electrical Engineering, Facility Management, or similar disciplines.
- Knowledge of data centers and/or other mission critical facilities design, operation and maintenance would be an advantage.
- Familiar with Building and Construction Authority (BCA) and National Environment Agency (NEA) regulations and requirements.
- Capable of working independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
