Job Description
The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Executive to support Mitsubishi Electric’s defense business across the Asia Pacific region. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, supporting regional sales activities, and facilitating strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in geopolitical affairs, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Business Development
- To identify and pursue new business opportunities including tenders, strategic partnerships, and co-development initiatives across Asia Pacific.
- To conduct market research and analysis to support business strategy.
- To collaborate with local sales representatives in each country to expand the customer base and enhance service delivery.
- To foster and maintain strong relationships with customers, sales partners, and Mitsubishi Electric branch offices throughout the region.
- Sales Support
- To support Mitsubishi Electric’s defense business development across the Asia-Pacific region, including the planning and preparation of promotional materials.
- To act as a liaison between regional sales representatives and potential customers, facilitating communication and coordination for country-specific projects.
- Travel & Exhibitions Support
- To coordinate travel and visit arrangements for Mitsubishi Electric headquarters personnel visiting the Asia-Pacific region.
- To assist in the preparation and on-site execution of exhibitions and industry events across the region.
Your Skills
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
- Keen interest in geopolitical affairs and the defense industry.
- Experience in communicating and working with foreign stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, with a basic understanding of graphic design software and formats.
- Traveling is required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Relations.
- Experience in public speaking.
- Capable of working independently.
