|
The carnival drew about 22,000 visitors over 3 days, with main attractions like EcoHome Exhibition whereby visitors learnt about adopting daily environmentally-friendly habits and the many games onsite. Mitsubishi Electric Asia was a key sponsor for the carnival. Besides promoting environmental friendly home appliances at the carnival, we had sponsored Mitsubishi Electric Recyclethon Draw. Visitors to the carnival were to exchange their PET plastic bottles (500 or 1,000ml) and drink cans (330ml) at the Reverse Vending Machines for a lucky draw coupon and stand a chance to win energy-efficient air-conditioners, refrigerators and many other prizes from Mitsubishi Electric. Over 16,000 aluminium cans & plastic bottles were collected. HortPark, Singapore 30th October 2009 – 1st November 2009
