Environmental Vision 2021 Emblem has been created to symbolize Mitsubishi Electric’s commitment to ‘Environmental Vision 2021’ and the achievement of its specific environment-related targets. Its goals include the following : working to reduce 30% of carbon dioxide emissions resulting from product use; aiming to reduce by 30% the total carbon dioxide emitted throughout the Mitsubishi Electric Group during production; enforcing measures to reduce, reuse and recycle throughout product life-cycles; and achieving zero emissions in the manufacturing process – all by the centennial anniversary of the company’s founding in 1921.
