Visitors to Mitsubishi Electric building will notice the impressive large scale screen located in the lobby. The 3.1m width by 1.9 m height screen is Singapore's first installed Diamond Vision Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) screen.
The OLED is a truly innovation display product, completely a new class of screen that opens up a world of possibilities without the usual screen limitation and restrictions, or condition of natural lighting.
Built by connecting a number of standard modules, the large indoor display screen is fully scalable and fitted seamlessly with just about any size or shape - including rounded surface while maintaining a high level of picture quality.
Its light output is far higher than LCD displays (up to 2 times), making OLED suitable for high ambient light areas such as relatively brightly lit areas like commercial facilities, stations and airports.
It is also significantly easier to install as it is much lighter and thinner than an equivalent LED screen and so can be installed in places which were previously thought impossible.
