The government of India, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, will be hosting the next international renewable energy conference in October 2010. The conference, known as the Delhi International Renewable Energy Conference (DIREC), has invited both public agencies and global corporations who are key drivers of renewable energy production and utilization.
With earlier events held in Washinton D.C in year 2008, Beijing in year 2005 and Bonn in year 2004, the current 4th global ministerial-level conference in New Delhi will address the use of renewable energy to combat climate change aimed for benefit of economic development and accessibility of energy services.
