3rd Renewable Energy India 2009 Expo was held in Pragati Maidan, in the metropolitan area of New Delhi this year. It is the third successive international renewable energy fair organized and is India's largest event on Clean and Green Energy featuring renewable energy generation. This is also the second time Mitsubishi Electric participated.
India has great potential to emerge as a solar energy hub. Since 2005, together with her partners, Mitsubishi Electric has already installed various solar systems in India. The solar systems cater to different applications like telecoms, water pumping, schools, small power plants and streetlights across the states of Gujarat, Haryana, West Bengal and Bihar.
In 3rd Renewable Energy India 2009 Expo , Mitsubishi Electric showcased its range of advanced environmental products - Solar Photovoltaic modules in the trade fair.
